RUN From The UNDEAD:
An all-age, family event – Plus Dark Carnival in the heart of Aberdeen, Washington. Join us for the “Run for the Undead” 5K walk and run starting and returning to our town’s Fern Hill Cemetery. There will be some spooktacular surprises along the course for a memorable experience along with awards and prizes.
Run from the Undead is a Walk of the Undead 98520 event created to organize and oversee a group of sub-events and activities.
Healthy Time Fitness and Anytime Fitness are working together to organize this FIRST YEAR Affair, lifting the weight to make it a cohesive planned affair that everyone can participate in, or attend.
Celebrate Community- Mostly fun with a side of learning!

Pumpkin Carving Award:
An all-age, family event – Carve your pumpkins at home and bring them in to be on display Friday at the American Legion Hall, 112 W 1st St, Aberdeen, WA 98520. They will be on display at Furniture World on Saturday October 19, 2022. Folks can visit and vote on their favorite that day.
Pick up your entry at 4:30pm. Pumpkins not picked up by appointed time will be donated to ———— a non-profit group that feeds hungry animals.
Winner will take home a beautiful trophy created by talented local craftsman Scott Betts of Scott Betts Woodcraft Design. ScottB769@yahoo.com
Chalk of the Undead:
Bring your creativity on Saturday October 19th and make your mark at Aberdeen’s outrageous Walk of The Undead community event! Artists, businesses, community groups and individuals of all ages are invited to create chalk street art on the theme of zombies, aliens, and the undead.
Arrive at 10 am to begin your chalk art. Work must be completed by 2 pm. People’s Choice Trophies will be awarded at 6 pm in both adult and youth categories. A limited amount of 10′ x 10′ canopy spaces are available to protect your artwork, rain or shine. Sidewalk chalk is provided, or you can bring your own. We’ll also have an interactive community chalk graveyard open all day and night.
Event created and sponsored by ART HQX. ART HQx is a family-friendly art studio and workshop in Historic Downtown Hoquiam, Washington USA.
Hearse Car Event:
The Hearses will roll in at Noon to cruise through our town. They will be on display from 1- 6p. The bulk of the vehicles will be members of Anubis Hearse Club PNW, a Washington State non-profit organization. They are mostly from Bremerton, WA and participate in many events- even Crypticon Seattle. The Anubis Group is full of fun, friendly folks. They might even invite you to crawl in and take a photo. The hearses are legit vehicles that, in their day, were engaged and owned by funeral homes. They have been retouched and restored for fun and fantasy. Please welcome them into our town! This display will be on the Aberdeen Auto Sales lot (Heron & I) We ask you to cast a ballot for the People’s Choice Award! Ballots will be available there.
Also- Aberdeen Auto Sales Lot will be the location for the BloodWorks Blood Mobile where you can donate blood that will be available to our local medical facilities. Registration is open NOW.

And cover you up with dirt and rocks
It all goes well for about a week
And then, your coffin begins to leak

As you begin to decompose.
